Job Summary :
The Generator Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of generators and related equipment. The role ensures optimal performance, safety compliance, and timely servicing of generators to prevent operational downtime.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of generators, including diesel and gas-powered units.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment lifespan and efficiency.
- Diagnose faults, perform troubleshooting, and oversee corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service logs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on generator operations, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for parts procurement and external servicing.
- Assist in budgeting and cost management for maintenance operations.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide technical support for critical issues.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
