ATEK Metals is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to serve as the key point of contact for our valued customers and internal teams. In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the center of delivering a world-class customer experience while ensuring seamless communication between customers, Sales, Engineering, and Production.
This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, has a passion for service excellence, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team driving operational success.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Be the go-to person for our customers — answering questions, managing orders, and keeping everything running like clockwork.
- Keep our quoting system sharp: manage logs, send/receive part files, and gather info from vendors.
- Review mark prints and assemble killer quote packages — accuracy is your thing.
- Connect the dots across Sales, Engineering, and Production to make sure everyone’s in sync.
- Track tooling and casting orders like a detective and make sure Tier 2 timelines are on point.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of every order and shipment.
- Review contracts with an eagle eye, suggest edits, and help set achievable, win-win goals.
- Be the ultimate customer advocate — especially for those on JIT and Kanban schedules. You’ll keep their timelines tight and their trust even tighter.
- Join customer calls, reply to emails, attend visits, and bring great vibes to every interaction.
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of experience with ERP systems in manufacturing environments.
- Excellent analytical, root cause, and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in a business-related field preferred.
- Prior experience in an engineering department and/or as an engineering assistant preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Works in a climate-controlled office 95% of time. Will have regular exposure to foundry environment including dust, heat, fumes, and noise.
