Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design secure cloud environments, focusing on Microsoft Azure
- Define and implement security policies, controls, and frameworks for cloud workloads
- Lead cloud security initiatives across engineering, architecture, and infrastructure teams
- Provide guidance on IAM, encryption, network security, threat protection, and compliance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and DevSecOps teams to ensure cloud security alignment
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve cloud security posture
- Participate in risk assessments, security reviews, and incident response efforts
- Proven experience in cloud security architecture (ideally within large enterprise environments)
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure security services (Azure Defender, Security Center, Sentinel, Key Vault, etc.)
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps, and zero-trust models
- Experience with compliance standards like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and SOC2
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM, etc.)
