Instructional & Multimedia Designer, Product Education

We are looking for an Instructional & Multimedia Designer, Product Education to join our expanding team! There are a few things we take seriously here: building an amazing product and providing the best possible service to our customers. Our clients love our product, it’s very popular and it's incredibly unique (and fun) to provide support in an environment where most interactions are very positive. This is a full-time position.

As an Instructional & Multimedia Designer, Product Education, you will use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex end-user support cases. With a thorough understanding of our product, the person in this role will have expert-level knowledge of complex workflows, integrations, automatons, issue resolution, APIs, reporting tools, and more.

This position is Work from home, you must reside in south Florida

About The Role

• Use core instructional design principles and theories to maximize learning

• Provide insights and deep understanding of learning programs and content visual design

• Establish quality monitoring for educational materials, moderation of support content ecosystem, and learning program traffic.

• Identify potential low-quality content trends through quantitative data analysis, and qualitative observation. • Implement feedback from a wide range of stakeholders, while maintaining high creative standards for the work

• Work collaboratively with software engineers, product managers, business stakeholders, UX designers and other teams to produce and publish compelling multimedia content and learning programs.

Your Experience & Skills

• 3 years of content and L&D experience; preferably in a startup, high growth tech environment.

• Demonstrated ability to drive results/outcomes.

• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and project managing your own workload to set deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time.

• Experience with LMS environments, elearning content authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Elucidat, etc.), and screencasts (Screenflow or Camtasia)

• Experience with multimedia production and graphic design tools in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and TechSmith tools (Camtasia and SnagIt)

• Experience with elearning formats and ability to recommend the best approach based on the uniqueness of each situation (.MP4, SCORM or xAPI)

• Demonstrated success with building effective learning experiences in the format of Instructor[1]led (ILT), blended-learning, simulations, game-based and gamified learning, websites, microlearning, just in time solutions, job aids and infographics, video, and animation/motion graphics

• Able to provide digital portfolio of prior work, previously executed projects, or example courses

• Excellent communication skills to listen and influence.

• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems

• Ability to follow legal guidance and best practices, while maintaining a clear and friendly writing style to create the best user experience

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to switch between tasks as needed

• Self-motivated with a strong drive for excellence

• Nice to have: Experience designing for an international audience

• Nice to have: Experience in social media management and creation of engaging content for the client

• Nice to have: Obsessed with social trends. Know what’s relevant (or not) to our professional audiences
