What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Security Incident Handler position at ATG?
Athena Technology Group (ATG) is seeking a Cyber Security Incident Handler to join our Army team at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The Cyber Security Incident Handler primary function is to support the Army’s Global Cyber Center.
Essential functions
Solves computer incidents. Analyzes and evaluates network anomalies to ensure they are fixed and prevented from reoccurring.
Develops procedures to identify cybersecurity incidents.
Determines how to handle identified threats.
Prepares documentation for network defense improvements after an incident has been resolved.
Communicates with management to ensure incidents are properly prioritized.
Coordinates with other departments to investigate incidents.
Updates standard operating procedures when incidents occur.
Proactively identifies concerning security inefficiencies and takes steps to fix them.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Certifications:
At least ONE of the following certifications is required: CySA , CFR, GCFA, GCIA, GDSA, GCIH, GICSP, or CCE
Experience:
0 – 1 Year Experience
