The Senior Technical Recruiter will contribute their knowledge and expertise to help advance ATG’s recruitment processes, best practices and standards. The Senior Technical Recruiter will support business development/ proposal staffing, talent pipeline building and active funded recruiting needs. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in government contracting recruiting, is innovative and results driven. The Senior Technical recruiter will act as advisor to division directors and senior leadership through the recruitment process during the recruiting process.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Support Business Development, Proposal Staffing and Funded positions by building pipeline of specific talent and skillsets
- Partner with Hiring Managers, directors and senior leadership to gain a deeper understanding of their requirements and needs.
- Utilize job boards, LinkedIn, and internet research techniques to find qualified candidates for assigned requisitions.
- Complete detailed screens with prospective candidates, and report weekly on activity and submittals
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers, division directors and other team members, as needed.
- Support execution of Recruiting process from beginning to end.
- Work as a team with other Recruiters to ensure requisitions are filled timely with the most qualified candidates.
- Ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
- Perform duties in a timely fashion and maintain ongoing communication regarding progress on search tasks.
- Track and measure recruiting metrics including time to fill.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years recruiting experience, with at least 5 years in Government Contracting arena (staffing background preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree’s Required (years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).
- Sourcing Experience in the defense contracting arena, with experience filling cleared requisitions, within IT, Intelligence, cybersecurity, systems engineering and satellite communications job areas
- Experience using multiple job boards, LinkedIn, other internet search methods to find candidates as well as creative recruiting solutions for niche skill sets
- Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (CATS by Top Echelon Software experience is desired)
- Experience working with other recruiters in a team to ensure timely identification of candidates
- Excellent Communication skills – verbally and written
- Ability to interact regularly with Hiring Managers, Senior Leadership and C-Level Executives
