JOB OVERVIEW
JOB TITLE Driver Helper
DEPARTMENT Hourly
LOCATION Warehouse to Job Sites
REPORTS TO Warehouse Manager, Safety Manager, General Manager

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Must be able to lift and team lift with driver and ensure load securement. Deliver trim material, off-load items with accompanying paperwork, to customers along a predetermined delivery route in a safe and efficient manner. Complete all required documents pertaining to delivery, pick-up, DOT and inventory management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Capable of lifting and carrying material safely (will train), being able to have flexible hours (may vary from time to time in the evenings), be able to communicate with the driver on location (being the eyes while backing into areas). Must follow all safety regulations on the jobs sites
(will train).

EDUCATION & TRAINING
OSHA safety training upon hiring. Basic math skills. Use and read a tape measure correctly.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Must have dependable transportation. Must live within 30 minutes of Zebulon, GA. Safety measures in the construction field and in a warehouse. Safe lifting practices.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Follow safe operating procedures. The ability to work independently, establish priorities and meet deadlines. Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines. Candidate must be able to safely climb in/out of box truck and safely load/unload material off the back of the truck. Must be organized with good communication skills. Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple team members. Physical ability to handle all trim materials and products including lumber, doors and millwork.

WORKING CONDITIONS
HOURS / SHIFTS 40 hours per week. Depends on jobs locations. Willing to work overtime as needed.
HOURLY Starting pay $13.75 - $14.50 per hour, based on experience.
