Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator, or a person willing to be trained, to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks, to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and maintenance.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
- Participate in training sessions for heavy equipment operation as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting
- Willingness to be trained in operating a forklift (Paid Training)
- Familiarity with operating various heavy equipment, including pallet jacks.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
