Overview
ATHENA is seeking a Pilot Plant Manager to lead operations, development, and quality efforts in the Pilot Plant. This role ensures smooth execution of R&D projects, equipment maintenance, and compliance with industry standards. This role has an annual salary of $60,000 - $85,000 depending on experience and fully loaded benefits!
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, safety, and equipment maintenance.
- Execute R&D development and manage the HGS Sample Program.
- Develop procedures, ensure compliance, and train staff.
- Maintain analytical instruments and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Support Quality Control & CAPA reports to improve processes.
Qualifications (One of the following required)
- Ph.D. in biological, chemical, or related sciences.
- Master’s 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s 4 years of relevant experience.
- Any degree 8 years experience (4 in leadership).
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with spray drying, granulation, and extraction a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory instrumentation.
Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Work in a lab setting with exposure to chemicals and biological materials.
