Role Overview
Athena is seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Engineer to be a key contributor to our IT and operational infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT operations, automation, and system administration , ensuring the smooth operation of networks, servers, and applications. This role involves collaborating with IT teams to maintain system uptime, optimize performance, and drive operational efficiency through automation and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable IT systems for production and test environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Develop, implement, and enforce IT operational policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
- Implement automation and tooling to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce manual processes.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for 24 / 7 support as needed.
