Athena Greek Restaurant is seeking an experienced Broil Cook to join our team! This full-time position requires expertise in broiling and grilling, precise knowledge of meat temperatures, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen.
Responsibilities:- Operate broil and grill stations, ensuring meats and seafood are cooked to the correct temperatures.
- Manage cooking times to maintain efficiency and consistency during service.
- Prepare and season meats according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely plating.
- Monitor food quality and communicate any issues to kitchen leadership.
- Assist with prep work and kitchen duties as needed.
- Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in broil/grill cooking.
- Strong understanding of meat temperatures and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
