As the Admissions Coordinator, you assist in the planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and overall operations of all admissions directed by the Director of Admissions.

As the Admissions Coordinator, you assist in the planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and overall operations of all admissions directed by the Director of Admissions.
Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree in marketing/sales or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred.
- Assists in the coordination of all admissions to facility in accordance with budgeted census projections.
- Is readily available and represents the facility to potential residents, families, hospitals, and other referral sources in a positive and professional manner.
- Knows and complies with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures and is able to educate residents and families in the same.
- Assists in the coordination of all admission activities and documentation with all respective departments.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Act as a liaison between facility and all community groups and agencies.
- Assists in implementation of facility marketing plan as deemed appropriate.
- Utilize appropriate sales/marketing techniques (i.e., public speaking, community workshops, cold calling, facility events, media coverage, etc.).
- Maintain budgeted census mix.
- Assure detailed completion of all admission, discharge and transfer records manually as well as computer generated.
- Has knowledge of admission computer software and able to utilize it effectively.
- Assist in providing ongoing assistance to potential residents and their families in negotiating a successful placement.
- Must have knowledge of local, state, and federal rules and regulations as they pertain to admissions.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
