We are hiring a Diet Technician to join our dynamic care team at Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton!
Full-time, 7a-3p schedule with weekly pay at $17 an hour. Nursing home experience preferred.

As a Diet Tech, you provide nutritional guidance in terms of resident needs, preferences, and individual dietary modifications.
Experience & Education:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent.
- An active certification as a Diet Technician.
- Prior experience in healthcare preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review modified selective menus to adhere to dietary guidelines.
- Ensure menu accuracy and quality by overseeing delivery of trays.
- Communicate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure proper nutritional care.
- Educate residents in proper nutrition.
- Maintain adequate and accurate records for all residents.
- Refer residents at nutritional risk to the Dietitian.
- Secure, evaluate, and record nutritional history of residents.
Specific Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations.
