Primary Care Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Provider (PA or NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness education. Working under the direct supervision of a physician and within the defined scope of practice, you will be part of a collaborative environment dedicated to high-quality outcomes.
This position requires flexibility to work at various hospital-owned clinics or the main hospital campus as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Promote preventive care through education, screenings, and immunizations.
- Educate patients and their families on wellness, chronic condition management, and treatment options.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient documentation in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to established referral guidelines, referring within the La Paz Regional Medical Staff network per Stark Law provisions, unless clinically necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Arizona.
- Demonstrated experience in primary care or family medicine settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability and willingness to rotate between different clinic locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing patient education and health counseling.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards, healthcare compliance, and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
