Job Title : Director of Sales
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating top line room revenue for the assigned hotel and meeting or exceeding budgeted revenue expectations. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and work closely with other department leaders to develop an effective sales plan for targeted vertical markets.
Responsibilities :
- Actively solicit new business opportunities through prospecting new customers.
- Use network channels to open doors to new customers.
- Seek methods and key business activities to penetrate the markets and find profitable ways to bring this business to the hotel through phone calls, appointments, tours, written and electronic correspondence, and entertainment.
- Develop long-term relationships with venues and potential clients by maintaining disciplined follow-up procedures.
- Attend trade shows, conventions, and promotional events to represent the hotel and generate new business.
- Prepare and present proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
- Work closely with other department leaders to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions.
