Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical/surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and assessments to develop individualized care plans
- Conduct venipuncture and suture removal as needed
- Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and symptoms closely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in infectious disease care, ER, ICD-9 coding, and trauma medicine is preferred
- Proficiency in outpatient care, memory care, and medication administration is beneficial
- Ability to perform venipuncture and suture removal with precision
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
