• Contract Length : 3 Months / 13 Weeks
• Shift Timings: 23:00-07:30 Hours Monday to friday (5 Days/ 8 Hours)
• Per week: 40 Hours

Requirements

• Experience: 2 Years
• The Xray Tech performs and produces/prepares evaluation documentation of diagnostic radiography Assists in transporting patients to radiographic room as well as preparing and maintaining radiographic room and work area. Specifications: High School graduate, completion of AMA approved X-ray training school, and current registry with Radiography through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologist (A.A.R.T.) required. Must have and maintain current licensure as a radiographer in the State of Rhode Island. Must be proficient in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray exams for IP, ER and OR service linesPreparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
• Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
• Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
• Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
• Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
• Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.

Pay: $2,485.60 - $2,489.60 per week
