Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Emergency Room (ER) Travel Nurses to join our team in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in emergency nursing, with the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires previous travel ER experience and is not suitable for first-time travelers.
Job Requirements:
- RN License: Must hold a valid New York (NY) RN License.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED).
- Telemetry Experience: Required.
- Travel Experience: Must have previous travel ER experience.
- Note: ER is not able to support first-time travelers.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) ONLY.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) ONLY.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency room.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and administer appropriate treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Respond to medical emergencies and perform life-saving procedures when necessary.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
