The Installation Technician will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties
- Provide exceptional customer support for Athena Security’s threat detection platform and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MDM software, iPads, and antivirus solutions.
- Deploy and manage iPads using Apple Configurator.
- Assist clients with Vanta integration and usage.
- Understand and manage IP addressing configurations.
- Perform installation tasks across various sites, up to 80% travel required
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation of products.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to coordinate installation schedules.
- Conduct site assessments to determine project requirements and potential challenges.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on installation sites.
- Troubleshoot installation issues as they arise and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during installations.
Qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems as they pertain to installations.
- Strong knowledge of TCPIP and Wireshark
- Familiarity with various technical hardwares.
- Ability to work effectively at various locations as required by project specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks associated with installation work.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Up to 80% travel required
