Director of Integrated Marketing
We are looking for a Director of Integrated Marketing to join the Brand & Performance Team within our Marketing division. In this role, the Director of Integrated Marketing will be responsible for designing and planning end-to-end marketing campaigns that incorporate online and offline marketing channels to tell a congruent story in market. This individual will possess strong marketing, communications and program management skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with peers across the marketing function and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common growth ambitions. The Director of Integrated Marketing will act as a visionary leader who can effectively integrate multiple marketing channels, tactics, and messaging to create impactful campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
The Team : The Brand & Performance Marketing team encompasses brand strategy and experience, creative services, go-to-market content, paid media, and website strategy. Our team is entrusted with devising, producing, introducing, and refining superior go-to-market strategies from branding through to demand generation. Our ultimate goal is to successfully position athenahealth as the most admired and considered company in our category.
Job Responsibilities
Design multi-channel marketing campaigns and activations that position athenahealth as the brand that helps to cure complexity and simplify the practice of care. Help us achieve key marketing objectives : 1. increase brand awareness, 2. create demand (drive pipeline) and 3. convert demand and strengthen client engagement.
Develop and oversee the integrated marketing strategy, ensuring alignment across digital, brand, segment, channels, and content to deliver a cohesive message across all platforms.
Create a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints by ensuring consistent messaging and visual elements, enhancing engagement and satisfaction.
Foster cross-functional collaboration among previously siloed teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and innovative campaign ideas to enhance overall effectiveness.
Collaborate with marketing channel owners (paid media, web, social, outbound, events, inside sales, etc.) to develop innovative strategies for reaching target audiences.
Conduct in-depth analysis of target audiences and personas to ensure effective targeting across channels.
Collaborate with portfolio and editorial teams to develop compelling value propositions and key messaging for target audiences.
Monitor marketing lead progression and improve engagement and conversion rates.
Typical Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
6 years of marketing experience, with a passion for B2B and a proven track record of managing cross-channel campaigns.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand strategy, and customer engagement principles.
Experience planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital media, web, events, outbound, social, and PR.
Familiarity with marketing technologies such as SFDC, Monday.com, AuxoAI, Allocadia.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and executive presence, capable of connecting at the C-level.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and performance measurement.
Creative, resourceful, and proactive, with strong project management skills and the ability to drive change.
Flexibility in attitude and behavior, with sound judgment and decisiveness.
