We're ready to help you achieve more.Purpose : Finance Business Analyst I will be responsible for collaborating with IT and Finance business areas to ensure the Finance systems and processes provides the required capabilities and efficiencies. The candidate will define and execute upon the vision for system fixes and improvements and prioritize the work for IT.Accountabilities : Finance Improvement Analyst : Work with in-house technology teams, in an Agile methodology, to deliver new or enhanced system and process capabilities.Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain system backlog according to business value or ROILead team scrums to define system vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the projectPlan and prioritize system development and system feature backlog with detailed specifications understood by relevant teamsMitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint / release goalsCoordinate between Finance business and IT on maintenance and support efforts around the system and data.Coordinate with business areas to analyze system related business processes : Build subject-matter expertise related to Finance, and all pre and post-Close processes and systems, with a view of becoming a key resource for information and leadership.Business Project Management : Organizing and planning of Finance system initiativesAnalyze impact to current systems and processes and define scopeDetermine cross functional dependencesLiaise with business and IT areas for coordination, developing plan and approachProject Plan executionFor IT related workstreams ensure alignment of priorities and deliverablesManage communication and status with stakeholdersQualifications and Experience : 1 years experience in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related areaStrong knowledge of systems, data, and business process integrations between corporate functions in investments, risk, and finance or accountingKnowledge of data warehousing and reporting architecture and designSome ability with BI tools to build large data automations; such as Alteryx, Power BI, or TableauAbility to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholdersUnderstanding of business value related to features and functionsIn-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project managementStrong ability to develop working relationshipsStrong communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the companyA strong candidate will be highly detail-oriented, well-organized, independent, assertive, self-motivated, and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's or higher degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT related fieldDrive.
