Athene Nursing & Rehabilitation is a vibrant 282-bed skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facility, and we are excited to invite a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to become part of our team! We serve a diverse range of residents, including those with orthopedic, cognitive, dietary, and neurological conditions, and work with both short-term rehab patients and long-term care residents. We offer flexible PRN, FT and PT hours, and our growing healthcare company is committed to becoming the premier inpatient rehab provider in the communities we serve.

What We're Looking For:
- Valid state PTA license
- Completion of an accredited therapy program
- Previous skilled nursing experience is a plus, but we welcome therapists at all levels of experience to apply
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move (walk, stoop, bend, stand, sit, push, pull, and lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately, so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with patients, clients, and team members.
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times, hostile people within the facility.
- Must be able to lift patients, medical equipment, supplies, etc. up to 50 lbs.
