Aesthetic Nurse Injector

Athenix Body Sculpting is currently seeking a part-time, EXPERIENCED aesthetic nurse injector to join our thriving cosmetic surgery center located in Pasadena, CA. Wonderful working environment working with a talented, collaborative, supportive team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest possible levels of patient care and satisfaction! (Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered. Licensed nurses who also have plastic surgery, OR/circulating experience are highly encouraged to apply but must also have a minimum of one year of experience as an aesthetic injector.)

Responsibilities:

• At least one year of experience with injectable toxins and fillers, as well as other aesthetic procedures.
• Occasionally assist physicians with injections and other procedures if/as necessary.
• Effectively communicate information to patients once they leave the office including medication usage and post-treatment care.
• Comply with practice policies and protocols at all times.
• Ensure patient charts contain all pertinent information.
• Photocopy/scan documents given to patients.
• Attach and file documents with appropriate charts.
• Apply knowledge of sterile techniques, OSHA regulations, and HIPAA protocols.
• Demonstrate proven knowledge of procedures, products, and policies.
• Have a demonstrated passion for the aesthetics industry and existing knowledge of treatments.

Skills/Qualifications

• Graduate of an aesthetic injectables program with current state licensure
• Surgical/OR/plastics experience is highly desirable
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Able to effectively communicate with all members of staff, both verbal and written
• Ability to communicate with patient, their family members and/or caretakers
• Must have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation
