What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACS- Future Operations Planner position at Athenix Solutions Group, LLC?
Athenix is seeking a Future Ops Planner who will coordinate and provide tactical level planning while supporting multiple cyberspace operations. This work is located on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide key strategy-to-task input in operational planning processes, and deliberate and crisis action planning and exercises support to Wing readiness exercises, AF exercises and Joint exercises.
- Integrate Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) and Cyberspace Defense Analysis (CDA) capabilities into the 688 Cyberspace Military Exercise Program.
- Identify training gaps with multiple organizations to better accommodate units' training needs.
- Implement Lessons Learned from previous exercise events, incorporating inputs from units into submitted Exercise Coordination Documents.
- Serve as action officer for deliberate action planning, contingency and crisis action planning, COA development, and military leadership decision briefs.
- Review and assist in development of emerging concepts, doctrine, and procedures- locally and for HHQ.
- Serve as lead and/or assist on Operational Planning Teams.
- Review and Draft CONOPs, WARNORDs, PLANORDs, OPORDs, FRAGORDs, and EXORDs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years cyberspace exercises and/or cyberspace range experience.
- Additionally, one or more of the following:
- BS Information Technology (IT)-related degree
- IAT Level II certification (DoDD 8140)
- Five years experience in Cyber Security/Network Operations
- Prior certification on a DoD cyber weapon system within the last five years
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required
