Job Summary:

Duties & Responsibilities
- Writes, edits, and proofreads all written technical and non-technical documents, deliverables, and training.
- Ensures documents meet editorial and government specifications for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.
- Works closely with subject matter experts to gather detailed information on systems, processes, and tools, translating complex technical concepts into clear and accessible documentation.
- Develops user manuals, training materials, system specifications, and other documentation that is essential for project success.
- Ensures that all documentation is well-organized, accurate, and adheres to project and governmental standards.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation is up to date and reflects the latest developments in systems and processes.
- Provides regular updates to leadership on the status of documentation activities, highlighting any risks or opportunities for improvement.
- Ensures that all documentation activities comply with security and confidentiality requirements.
- Continuously evaluates new tools and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of technical writing processes.
- 3-10 years of relevant experience for Journeyman level position
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience as substitution
- Associate's degree plus 4 years' work experience
- OR 6 years' work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
- Can perform all functional duties independently as Journeyman level position
