Caulker Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare surfaces for caulking by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
- Mix and apply sealants and fillers to joints, seams, and gaps in a neat and efficient manner.
- Inspect completed work for quality and make any necessary touch-ups.
- Ensure work area is clean and free of debris at all times.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure work is completed to a high standard.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Caulker Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in caulking.
- Familiarity with a wide range of sealants and fillers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
