Summary
We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at Athens Country Club. This role is essential in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces, ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on golf course grounds, including mowing and trimming.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment for landscape maintenance tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with the grounds team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics throughout the club.
- Support special projects related to landscaping or facility improvements.
- Operates small machinery to assist in edging, trimming, and mowing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture practices including tree care and lawn maintenance.
- Ability to operate hand tools and landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions is required.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs of static weight.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires availability to work from 6:30 am- 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am -12 pm on Fridays, every other weekend, AND Holidays from 6:30am- 10 am. (Overtime available)
