What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Clerk position at Athens County?
Receives, file stamps and enters in the court docket of Domestic, Civil and Criminal case filings, journalizes court findings and orders , certificates of judgments, Court of Appeals filings and has access to documents secured by court order, filing documents. Computes, journalizes and handles money by collecting court costs. Accepts payments and filings at public counter.
Prepares and sends court summons, subpoenas, warrants, etc.. Receives and files returns, journalizes returns for inclusion in court costs.
Previous experience in Law Office or Court setting is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
