Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) – Athens Health and Rehab
Location: Athens, PA | Full-Time | $48–$50 per hour
Athens Health and Rehab is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to join our 80-bed skilled nursing facility. This leadership role supports the overall operations of the Nursing Services Department, ensuring quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring high standards of care.
- Assist with resident admissions, screening, and assessments.
- Review nurses’ notes for accurate documentation of treatments, medications, and conditions.
- Conduct daily rounds and communicate with physicians and residents.
- Support the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator in MDS planning and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with at least one year of leadership experience as an ADON or DON in long-term care.
- Experience with the geriatric population is preferred.
