Athens Health and Rehab is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager / Food Service Director to oversee food service operations at our skilled nursing facility. This leadership role ensures high-quality meal preparation, compliance with dietary standards, and effective management of food service staff.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department.
• Manage food service staff, including scheduling, hiring, and performance management.
• Ensure meals are prepared according to planned menus and standardized recipes, with approved substitutions as needed.
• Review care plans to confirm residents' dietary needs are met.
• Provide nutrition counseling in collaboration with a registered dietitian.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Work as part of the interdisciplinary team to support facility operations.

Qualifications:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care is desirable.
• Prior management experience is preferred.
• ServSafe certification required (or must obtain before employment).
• Must be 18 or older to apply.
