Bi-Monthly Respite Care provider

First and Third Wednesdays of the month

CNA license required

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respite Caregiver to join our team. As a Respite Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary relief to primary caregivers, ensuring that our clients receive the care they need in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients.
• Support emotional and social needs through engaging companionship and conversation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Document care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA completion required.

- Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred.

- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Background check and CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
