Hours : 8 : 15 am-3 : 15 pm

Pay : $15 minimum (10month Salary)

Job Description :

We are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Montessori Primary Assistant. The Primary Assistant will work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for children ages 3-6. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners while gaining valuable experience in the field of Montessori education.

Responsibilities :

• Classroom Support : Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing and maintaining a well-equipped Montessori classroom environment that fosters independence and exploration.
• Curriculum Implementation : Support the implementation of the Montessori curriculum by preparing materials, guiding children through activities, and facilitating hands-on learning experiences.
• Individualized Attention : Provide individualized support to students as they engage in self-directed learning activities, offering guidance and encouragement as needed.
• Classroom Management : Assist in maintaining a positive and orderly classroom atmosphere by modeling respectful behavior, implementing classroom routines, and addressing student needs effectively.
• Collaboration : Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other staff members to ensure continuity in curriculum delivery, assessment of student progress, and communication with parents.
• Professional Development : Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to deepen understanding of the Montessori philosophy and enhance teaching practices.
