We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to the upkeep of our properties.
Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections of building systems and equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.
- Address and resolve minor repairs in a timely manner.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to building systems.
- Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty equipment and components.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and adhere to preventive measures to reduce potential hazards.
Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment.
Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate in on-call rotations.
- Implement emergency repairs to prevent disruptions to business operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and perform manual labor.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
