What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Fueler position at Athens Services?
Description
Essential Job Functions
- Fuels all vehicles returned to the yard on a daily basis
- Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) / Department of Transportation (DOT) requires as well as all local, state and federal requirements
- Track, monitor and measure fuel being dispensed into each unit
- Keep accurate nightly records to insure all vehicles are fueled on time
- Understands and practices operating as prescribed in Athens Services Safety Rules
- Immediately reports any unsafe situations / service calls to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor
- Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and Safety meetings as required by the Company
- Makes use of standard tools and resources provided by the Company
- Notifies Fleet Maintenance Supervisor of any incidents / accidents / injures / property damage
- Performs other duties as assigned
