Position : Diesel Equipment Technology Laboratory Assistant
Location : Elbert Campus
Department : Division of Business, Industry, and Technology
Reports to : Program Chair for Diesel Equipment Technology and Divisional Academic Dean
Salary / Benefits : Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Responsibilities :
- Assists faculty members with classroom instruction, exams, record keeping, adherence to safety procedures, tracking attendance and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction.
- Assists faculty with the supervision and mentoring of students during scheduled lab sessions or tutoring sessions, as needed.
- Assists faculty with maintaining a clean and safe lab environment.
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment, as instructed.
- Assists with inventory maintenance and requisition of supplies.
- Obtains materials needed for classes, including texts and other materials.
- Completes ALL required employee trainings.
- Meets with students, staff members, supervisors, as needed.
- Assists with special projects or initiatives, as needed.
