What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Systems Technician position at Athey Creek?
Position Summary : The IT Systems Technician I will ensure the ACC's computer systems are up to date and that operation systems meet the current security protocols. They also work with ACC staff through our ticketing system to help resolve technical issues.
Experience and Knowledge Required :
- Agree to ACC's doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe / Vision Statement
- Minimum of one year in an administrative or support role
- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in the scriptures
- Knowledge of software systems integration, and the ability to create and maintain scalable code using SOAP / REST Websockets along with a basic knowledge of Python
- Basic knowledge of operating systems and ability to troubleshoot and resolve staff IT issues
- Working knowledge of security protocols and ability to implement needed systems
- Basic hardware networking knowledge to support Network Admin
