About You: Are you passionate about sports and love working with kids? As a Sports Camp Counselor, you'll play a key role in creating an exciting and safe camp experience! From setting up drills to coaching young athletes, you'll engage with participants, ensure their safety, and keep the energy high. You'll also help organize breaks and handle cleanup, making sure each day runs smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teamwork, leadership, and inspiring the next generation of athletes!
This is a part-time seasonal position with varying hours. We will work with your schedule!
About Us: Athletes in Action is the sports ministry of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ). Our mission is to see Christ followers on every team in every sport in every nation. On our 250 acre athletic complex we host local, regional and international events, including sport events, camps, meetings and banquets.
Details about the role:
- Help set up the facility (cones, balls, other equipment).
- Greet parents and participants, make name tags, distribute t-shirts or other items.
- Interact with participants, assist with drills.
- Provide coaching and supervision of minors.
- Plan snack times and water breaks.
- Clean up facility and debrief with staff.
