Description:
The Athletics are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in content creation, public relations, and social media. This role will report to the Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and develop engaging content for the team's website, email newsletters, press releases, and event promotions.
- Oversee and manage the team's ballpark social media accounts. Develop and execute creative social media content.
- Support the PR team. Help track media coverage, assist in media outreach, and maintain relationships with local media outlets.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Participate in efforts to build the team's relationship with the local community, including assisting in community outreach and event activations.
- Help maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely communication across all marketing channels.
- Collaborate with the design team to create digital assets for social media, email marketing, and the team website, including graphics, images, and video content.
- Assist with photo and video shoots, including planning, on-site support, and post-production coordination.
- Track performance metrics for email, social, and web content, and provide reporting insights to help improve future campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in marketing communications, social media management, and content creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Experience managing social media accounts and developing content that drives engagement.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfort working occasional evenings and weekends.
