What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freshman Volleyball Coach position at Athletics?
LOCATION: Pinckney Community High School
STARTING DATE: August 2025
CONDITIONS: Contract Employment through Safe-Ed
Placement per Extra Curricular Stipend Schedule as
outlined in the Pinckney Education Association Master Agreement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive knowledge of volleyball and previous playing experience.
- Ability to work well with student athletes in order to provide a safe and rewarding learning experience.
- Previous volleyball coaching experience with school age students.
- Ability to select and train student athletes, and foster their development.
- Serves as a role model to student athletes, both on and off the course.
- Ability to place the appropriate emphasis on STUDENT athlete.
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents and appropriate staff regarding team procedures, organization and expectations and student athlete issues.
- Ability to motivate and encourage student athletes and resolve conflicts in a positive, productive manner.
