Schedule : Monday – Friday 7 : 30 am – 4 : 00 pm
Reporting Days : 245, 12 months
Compensation : Salary
Starting Pay : $100,000-$120,000; DOE
Start Date : Summer 2025
Minimum Qualifications Required :
Education : Master’s Degree in Educational Administration or related field
Experience : 3-5 years of school leadership, and 3-5 years of successful teaching experience, preferred experience in turnaround work.
Certification : Educational Administrator License
Background : Clear FBI background check
Language : Strong verbal and writing skills in English, Spanish fluency preferred

Job Duties
Staff Management
Mentors, recruits and / or retains high-quality teachers and staff, terminates when necessaryOversees professional development of all teachers and staffObserves all classes regularly; oversees and assesses the performance of all school employeesHolds employee evaluation conferences based on records of performance observationsEnsures collaboration and team building among staffManages conflicts and relations between school employees skillfullyOversees employee screening measuresAcademics
Primary instructional leader for the schoolEnsures students are meeting all growth benchmarksEvaluates instructional program effectiveness; develops and enforces policies and proceduresEnsures implementation of instructional strategies, classroom management, and communicationEnsures effective, research-based professional development is provided and implementedMonitors special projects accountability timelines and coordinates timely completionCollaborates with staff for united school improvement planMonitors, directs, and implements the administration of assessmentsMonitors and analyzes student performance assessment data preparing reports as needed for various special projects (i.e., after school program, summer school)Oversees special service programs (SPED and ELL) implementation and complianceAnalyzes student achievement data, draws logical conclusions and prepares comprehensive reportsHolds and attends parent / teacher / student conferences, open houses, and other parent and community eventsOperations
Abides by all state and federal laws that apply to charter schools and charter policyEnsures there is proper documentation on operations of charter programs to develop accurate budgetMaintains fiscal control, report accurate fiscal informationEnsures smooth operation of school facilities, school finance and risk management, including appropriate procurement of insurance policiesEnsures school-wide compliance with all policies and proceduresAttends all required governing board and state meetings; attend other meetings and training that provide legal guidanceParticipates in the school’s annual fiscal audit and oversees the preparation of the school’s annual budget, annual financial and annual program reportsEnsures school safety by performing fire drills and other drillsPreparation of financial and statistical documents and reportsEnsures school facilities are managed effectively; oversees facilities to ensure maintenance provides a clean and safe schoolRequires students to demonstrate positive behaviors aligned with the school’s vision and missionClassroom and School Culture

Knowledge and Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Classroom and video platforms such as : Zoom or Teams.Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage the entire classroom.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Experience working in diverse communities and a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives.Demonstrated integrity and high standards in managing information in a confidential and professional manner.Physical Demands
