Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Prescribe psychopharmacological treatments and manage medication regimens.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and continuing education activities.
- Active APRN license in Alabama
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a PMHNP
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Alabama
