We are looking for a skilled Cable Assembler to join our team. The Cable Assembler will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and testing a wide range of cable and wiring assemblies to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret work orders for assembly. Pull the assigned material and assemble cables and wiring harnesses according to customer specifications
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires and cables
Perform testing and quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet all customer requirements
Record all production data accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in cable assembly preferred but not required.
Knowledge of cable assembly techniques, wire types, and soldering practices
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 100 pounds
