Demolition Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Demolition Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling structures, preparing sites for new construction, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and heavy equipment.

Duties

• Execute demolition tasks on residential and commercial structures, including the removal of drywall, flooring, and concrete.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts as needed.
• Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, breaking, and dismantling materials.
• Perform frame carpentry tasks to support structural modifications during demolition.
• Ensure all work areas are clean and organized to promote safety on the construction site.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks associated with demolition work.
• Assist in the installation of temporary supports or bracing as required during the demolition process.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in demolition or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in drywall removal, remodeling techniques, concrete finishing, and flooring installation is advantageous.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is essential; certification may be required.
• Ability to use power tools safely and effectively; knowledge of caulking techniques is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on construction sites.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
