Help Desk Technician
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the IT Manager the applicant will:
- Provide technical support and guidance to users
- Provide in person and telephone support to troubleshoot system issues
- Document internal policies and develop training for end-users
- Develop new and build current relationships with vendors. This will include working with technical support on
- Assist in configuring and maintaining all systems, applications, security, and network
- Troubleshoot network performance issues. Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications
- Install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve
- Perform system backup and recovery. Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to
- Administer and maintain the organization's email system
- Install and maintain Windows 2016/2019Servers and Windows 11 Desktops/Laptops
Desired Skills & Experience
- 4 year degree from accredited University
The position recommends experience in the following areas:
- 2 years with managing a virtual environment with vCenter
- scripting experience (ex. Powershell, Python, etc) with a good understanding of API
- Experience of managing Google Apps for Enterprise
- Experience managing MS SQL Servers
- Cloud file shares systems, ex. Google Shared Drive, Sharepoint
- Experience with a Mobile Device Management solution (ex. Airwatch, Maas360, SOTI)
- 2 years of installation and Management of Windows 2012/2019Servers
- 2 years Active Directory and Group Policy Management
- 2 years of well experienced with ITSM solution.
- Experience with SentinelOne Endpoint Protection
- 2 years of developing and implementing new solutions that improve business processes
- Experience managing Voice over IP telecommunications and call center software
- Experience with a desktop imaging solution, ex. MDT, SCCM, SmartDeploy
- Zerto
- Druva Backup solutions
- Microsoft D365
- Azure Cloud
Travel Expectation- Approx 20%
