Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong background in the restoration industry. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water damage, fire, mold, and other disasters. Your expertise in using hand and power tools will be essential in executing restoration tasks efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assess damage to properties and determine the appropriate restoration methods.
- Perform water damage restoration, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Conduct fire restoration work, including cleaning smoke-damaged areas and repairing structural damage.
- Execute mold remediation processes to ensure safe and healthy environments.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to carry out restoration tasks such as building repairs and carpet cleaning.
- Implement asbestos abatement procedures when necessary to maintain safety standards.
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding the restoration process and progress updates.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations during all restoration activities.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of fire restoration practices is a plus.
- Experience with mold remediation processes is beneficial.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
