What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Coordinator position at ATI?
ESSENTIAL TASKS:
- Operate company owned vehicles to make pickups and deliveries of materials, parts, supplies, mail and other items as necessary. Company owned vehicles to consist of cars, vans, pickup trucks and 1-ton truck but not to include 2-1/2 ton trucks.
- Perform all duties associated with the receiving of material, parts, supplies and other items following established receiving procedure.
- Pickups and deliveries may be made locally or to nearby cities or areas and will generally be made but not limited to weekday hours between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm
- Responsible for securing load, obeying traffic regulations and seeing that required paperwork is signed and handled properly
- Unload or assist in unloading various items from trucks or other carriers.
- Count, weigh or otherwise reconcile shipment with proper paperwork.
- Operate computer to generate receiving report.
- Maintain required files and records including reporting shortages, damages or discrepancies.
- Prepare any additional paperwork required including entering data into the system.
- Move or be instrumental in having material, parts, supplies or other items moved to proper areas.
- Operate lift truck or yard truck to transport materials, parts, supplies or other items generally with the confines of company property.
- Prepare and maintain related records and reports.
- Work from shipping and purchase documents.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Detect and report damaged or defective items, questionable situations or unusual conditions to proper supervision.
NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:
- On occasion may be required to put up or delivery stockroom, office and janitorial supplies including some stockroom maintenance items.
- Assist in moving convey files to record files to record storage and furniture or equipment due to relocation.
- Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
- General high school diploma or GED
- Must maintain valid drivers license and lift truck operator's license.
- Adhere to safety regulations and comply with ATI's code of business conduct.
- Use ordinary arithmetic, decimals and fractions.
- Experience over 12 months.
