Electrical Engineer

Position: Electrical Engineer
Location: Charleston, TN
Role Type: Full time

What you will do:
This position provides engineering and technical services to Operations service units to assure safe operations, regulatory compliance, and efficiency of these units.
Support and closely cooperate with fellow Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EI&C) Engineering counterparts in assuring safe operating conditions and regulatory compliance of production units
Support and maintain instrumentation and automation for the production units
Consult and support capital projects executed by project engineering
Support process and technology transfer between production sites
Support engineering team on capital invest and expense type projects
Conduct or coordinate debottlenecking and troubleshooting activities
Exercising Electrical & Instrumentation engineering judgement with respect to the process areas of responsibility and assigned subject matters
Drive continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, and cost
Support development of specifications, standards, and codes

What we need from you:
Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Computer Science Engineering
3 years of electrical engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering
Thorough technical knowledge in the field of electrical or instrumentation engineering including relevant regulations, standards, and codes
Basic understanding of engineering principles and construction practices
Must be physically fit to wear an air purifying respirator if necessary.
