In light of our continuous growth and expansion at Atira Hotels, we are actively seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Regional Director of Operations to join our prestigious team. This position will entail the primary responsibility of overseeing the hotels within the Chicago area. The Regional Director of Operations will offer comprehensive leadership, guidance, and direction to Hotel General Managers and their operational teams.

Regional Director of Operations (RDO)
The Regional Director of Operations ensures that all required functions and duties are completed for each hotel in compliance with Atira Hospitality standards, franchise standards, and local law.
The Regional Director of Operations provides guidance to ensure that each hotel’s business plan is executed and the hotel strives in all facets to achieve budgeted performance.
The Regional Director of Operations ensures that the hotel leverages all resources and tools provided to maximize operations as it relates to Revenue Production, Profitability, Guest Service, Franchise Quality Standards, Associate Satisfaction, and Physical Product Maintenance.
Specific Duties
- Property Visits : Inspects the hotel on a regular basis to verify room cleanliness, general maintenance, proper supervision, proper staffing, safety, and security preparedness, capital maintenance, and assess the market and competitive positioning.
- Property Incomes Statement Reviews and Action Plans : Reviews monthly P&L statements, identifying opportunity areas and addressing concerns through the development and implementation of property action plans.
- Marketing and Promotion : Ensures that the sense of arrival, marketing collateral, online marketing presence, and overall promotion of the hotel is optimized and executed as per the Business Plan.
- Guest Satisfaction : Monitors Guest Satisfaction Scores, identifying opportunity areas through the development and implementation of property action plans.
- Sales : Ensures that the property sales efforts are aggressive, targeted, and generating accretive room nights in accordance with the property business plan.
- Liaison : Act as a direct liaison between ownership and property

The Regional Director of Operations will utilize AtiraNET, OwnerView, MachForm, and Accounting Reporting systems.
Evaluation
The Regional Director of Operations will be evaluated based on portfolio performance.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred – Hospitality / Hotel Management preferred
US work authorization (Required)
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Hotel management : 5 years (Preferred)
Hospitality : 5 years (Preferred)
Extensive travel between hotels in assigned region and corporate office required
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
Build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives
Ability to multi-task and track completion dates to ensure timeliness
Highly focused and results-driven
Minimum 10 years of work experience in hotel service dealing with multiple brands and units
Experience in developing and managing budgets and revenue proposals
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance and exceed goals
Computer Knowledge / Skills : MS Office, strong excel skills, and knowledge of hotel property management systems
