Customer Service Representative

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle various customer interactions effectively. We are looking for someone who may have an interested in becoming a licensed insurance agent in the future.

Duties

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate information.
• Data Entry
• Conduct outbound calling to follow up on customer inquiries or feedback.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and phone etiquette during all interactions.
• Document customer interactions in our computerized system for future reference.
• Collaborate with team members to improve customer support processes.
• Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
• File - must know and understand alphabetical order.
• Take payments - must know and understand how to give change.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer support skills with a focus on problem-solving.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is an advantage.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrated phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using computers and various software applications.
• Must be able to take directions, coaching and constructive criticism.
