Design Engineering Manager
Atkinson Construction is currently seeking a highly talented Engineering Manager. As an Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering design services for temporary structures to our construction projects, primarily in Washington and California. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :
- Perform analysis on existing structures and design temporary supports, falsework and access systems for a variety of bridge construction, erection, and other heavy civil construction projects
- Prepare design drawings, calculations, and reports for use by our projects and estimating
- Participate in the estimating process
- Participate in meetings with clients and project team members
- Maintain good relationships with our teams using strong interpersonal skills
- Stay up-to-date with the state of practice, and integrate innovation and technology in design
- Assist in training and development of other staff members
- Occasional travel to provide project onsite support
- Successfully delivering a design that is on budget, on schedule, and compliant with program standards

Base salaries will be determined by factors such as geographic location, education, skills, experience, and market considerations. For this role the base salary range is $100,000 to $160,000.
